great base for strolls to stunning gardens and charming churches

My stay was enjoyable as the staff were friendly and the shower in my room was lovely, making it a good spot to clean up after exploring nearby attractions like the beautiful Waterperry Gardens just about 2 km away and the historic St Mary's Church a bit over 5 km away, perfect for weekend wanderings. while the room was comfy, the pillows could be a touch better.

The Deluxe Double Room was super comfy and clean. It had all the facilities we needed for a great overnight stay. The place was quiet, which was perfect for sleep. modern vibes with a nice setup. Definitely worth the stay!

Dining in the garden with delicious specials was a highlight. the flavors were exceptional, making it the perfect way to unwind. parking was often crowded, especially during peak hours, which may deter those with vehicles. the noise from the pub could occasionally be heard in my room, slightly disrupting the tranquility.

We had such a cozy stay and absolutely loved the beautiful meals and the warm atmosphere created by the friendly patrons at the bar. The sun terrace and live entertainment added to our relaxation after long event days. A small note for improvement, breakfast choices were a bit too egg-heavy, but we really enjoyed our time here! 😊

our stay at fox and goat was fantastic! the staff was super welcoming and knew exactly how to make us feel at home. the deluxe twin room was big, clean, and tidy. having a dog-friendly atmosphere was a big plus, too. i appreciated that the staff went out of their way to prepare a special meal for my dietary needs, which was truly memorable!

It was just a well-suited match for a quick stop in Waterstock with all in all brilliant value for money. The room was very clean, which made a good impression right away. Make sure to check the bar hours ahead of time to avoid any disappointment.

I found this place perfect for my weekend strolls, as it’s just a short drive to the beautiful Waterperry Gardens, and St Mary's Church, a lovely spot for exploration, is also nearby. the room was spacious and I had a nice shower overall.

The light in my room was far too dim, which made working almost impossible. The foam pillows were flat and uncomfortable, leaving me restless at night. To top it off, there was a loud disagreement outside the pub that woke me up on Friday night. I noticed dust on the edges of my bathroom door and skirting board, which is unacceptable.

I stayed one night in a Deluxe Double Room. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Dinner options were great with locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast was delicious with high-quality sausages. 😊

Requesting a room away from the road noise can enhance your sleep quality, as the main road can get busy early.
